This Domitai Park tour from Miches packs six experiences into one seven-hour day. Drive a dune buggy over rugged off-road trails, fly through the jungle canopy on ziplines, and ride horseback through the Dominican countryside, all before lunch.

The morning also takes you through the Yara Cave and into a recreated Taino village, where dancers perform an ancestral ritual and exhibits tell the story of the island's first people. After a Dominican buffet lunch you taste organic products grown on the island, cool off with a swim in the Iguanaboina cenote, an underground pool framed by natural rock, and watch a Mardi Gras-style carnival show of live music and dancers in full costume. There is free time to browse the Dominican village shops before the ride home.

The tour runs on Mondays and Thursdays. Your driver collects you from your Miches hotel between 7:30 and 8:30 AM and brings you back around 4:00 PM. Lunch, drinking water, safety gear and guides in English and Spanish are included. Bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and closed shoes.

Hotel pickup
Your driver collects you between 7:30 and 8:30 AM from your Miches hotel. Sit back and enjoy the scenic ride to the park.
Welcome and briefing
Arrive at Domitai Park around 9:00 AM. Check in, pick up your helmet and safety gear, meet your bilingual guide and get a short briefing before the action starts.
Buggies, zipline and horseback riding
From 9:15 AM to 12:45 PM you rotate through the three adventure activities: take the wheel of a dune buggy on off-road trails, fly through the jungle canopy on ziplines, and ride horses through the Dominican countryside.
Yara Cave and the Taino village
Within the same morning block you walk through the Yara Cave and step into a recreated Taino village. Dancers perform an ancestral ritual and the exhibits explain the heritage of the island's first inhabitants.
Dominican buffet lunch
At 1:00 PM refuel with an authentic Dominican buffet: slow-roasted meats, plantains, rice and beans and tropical fruit, all made with local ingredients.
Organic products tasting
At 2:00 PM sample organic products grown on the island and learn how they are produced.
Cenote cave swim
At 2:30 PM cool off in the Iguanaboina cenote, a hidden underground pool surrounded by natural rock formations. For many guests this is the highlight of the day.
Carnival show
At 3:00 PM the park closes the day with a colorful Mardi Gras-style carnival: live music, dancers in vibrant costumes and pure Caribbean energy.
Village shops and return
Browse the Dominican village shops for national products and souvenirs, then board the transfer back to your hotel at 4:00 PM.
