Enjoy a guided tour through Monkeyland, where you’ll visit a typical Dominican home to experience local culture, taste fresh coffee, cocoa, and tropical fruits, and explore a lush botanical garden. Then, meet our friendly squirrel monkeys up close as they play, climb, and even eat from your hands. These sociable monkeys live freely on five beautiful acres and are completely accustomed to human interaction.

What you’ll do

  1. Pickup at your resort

    Guests are collected from their hotel or designated meeting point. Optional pickup available depending on the booking selection.

  2. Transfer to the countryside

    Travel by safari truck or bus through rural landscapes on the way to Anamuya, guided by an experienced local team.

  3. Visit to a typical Dominican house

    Learn about traditional farming methods and taste locally produced coffee and cocoa while meeting a local family.

  4. Botanical garden stop

    Explore native plants and tropical flowers during a short guided walk through the garden.

  5. Monkeyland experience

    Spend 45 minutes interacting with friendly squirrel monkeys that freely approach visitors and eat from their hands.

  6. Gift shop visit

    End the tour by browsing the Monkeyland gift shop for local crafts and souvenirs.

  7. Return transfer

    Board your vehicle for a comfortable ride back to your hotel or meeting point.
